How it Works

The Consultation

At RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa, each initial patient consultation is different.

Depending on your needs, desired treatments, areas of concern, and simply who you are as a patient, we will schedule you with an actual treatment provider to discuss your goals, budget, and more. During this appointment, we will go through before & after photos, your medical history, and any questions you might have. Only then can we make a recommendation for which procedures or treatments may be right for you and why. We will be sure to educate you on how the treatments work, including what to expect during and afterward.

A typical consultation lasts about 40 minutes and is free of charge for all aesthetic treatments, including custom facials. At the end of your consultation, you will leave our office in Vernon Hills with a thorough, personalized treatment plan. And when you’re ready, we’ll schedule your first treatment session.

The Procedure

We start each facial by ensuring your total comfort in a clean, comfortable, and private treatment room.

This treatment is incredibly quick, simple, and painless, with most patients in and out of the office within a half hour or less.

Our trained aesthetician will start the treatment with a thorough cleanse of your face. They will then carefully use facial peels to help exfoliate the damaged layer of dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. Once the peel is complete, your skin is hydrated with natural materials and a younger, healthier look will begin to shine through.

The Recovery

Some patients may experience mild redness in the face, but there is no downtime associated with custom facials.

Patients are free to resume all normal activities following your treatment in our Vernon Hills office, however, we strongly recommend an at-home skin care routine to complement your treatment.

I went to Ritacca at the recommendation of a friend for natural-looking fillers and results and am so grateful I did! Dr. Morno does my lip injections and Botox and is very much, “you look good, don’t want to overdo it” attitude. She wants everyone to look like their best, most natural self. My lips look like they did in my 20s as does the furrow line between my eyes. I also have gone to Jacque for medspa facials. Omg. The BBL hurts, but the results are so so good.
