The Consultation
At RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa, each initial patient consultation is different.
Depending on your needs, desired treatments, areas of concern, and simply who you are as a patient, we will schedule you with an actual treatment provider to discuss your goals, budget, and more. During this appointment, we will go through before & after photos, your medical history, and any questions you might have. Only then can we make a recommendation for which procedures or treatments may be right for you and why. A typical consultation lasts about 40 minutes and is free of charge for all aesthetic treatments, including Laser Tattoo Removal. Your Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment
As with any procedure at RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa, we will begin your laser tattoo removal treatment by ensuring your total comfort in a clean, comfortable, and private treatment room.
Each tattoo removal session is relatively quick, lasting only a few minutes each time. After being provided with a pair of protective eye shields, Dr. Ritacca will determine the most effective wavelength or energy level for your treatment. We then use a small device to pass through the top of the skin and remove the tattoo pigments.
The Recovery
After treatment, you may experience some redness at the treatment area.
This will go away after a few hours. Each treatment has the benefit of little downtime, however we recommend that you avoid strenuous activity for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
