How it Works

The Consultation

At RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa, each initial patient consultation is different.

Depending on your needs, desired treatments, areas of concern, and simply who you are as a patient, we will schedule you with an actual treatment provider to discuss your goals, budget, and more. During this appointment, we will go through before & after photos, your medical history, and any questions you might have. Only then can we make a recommendation for which procedures or treatments may be right for you and why. We will be sure to educate you on how the treatments work, including what to expect during and afterward.

A typical consultation lasts about 40 minutes and is free of charge for all aesthetic treatments, including BBL HERO. At the end of your consultation, you will leave our office in Vernon Hills with a thorough, personalized treatment plan. And when you’re ready, we’ll schedule your first treatment session.

Your BBL HERO Treatment

As with any procedure at RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa, we will begin the BBL HERO treatment by ensuring your total comfort in a clean, comfortable, and private treatment room in Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.

We will ensure your skin has been thoroughly cleansed and VISIA Skin Analysis photos have been captured to keep our providers on track for phenomenal results.

Your provider will target a specific area and evenly apply the BBLHERO device to the area desired. The area and intensity will vary by a patient’s individual needs and complexion. After about 20-25 minutes, the treatment is complete and the patient is free to go about their day as normal.

 

The Recovery

It’s necessary to avoid sun exposure immediately after treatment, as a patient may experience some redness and/or mild swelling.

However, you should be able to resume all activities as normal following a BBL HERO treatment with a medical-grade sunscreen applied. Improvement in your skin will be gradual, with the best results usually coming after four treatments spaced out four weeks apart.

I’ve been seeing Jen for many years as my budget allows and/or in between my traveling out of the state. Whenever I’m in town I book with Jen. I recently had a touch up BBL before summer with the new Hero. I have a Diamond Glow facial scheduled for next month. Bring on the summer glow!

I don’t usually write reviews but I have seen so much improvement in my skin and had a great experience with Jen that I wanted to share with others. Jen has been doing BBL (broad band light) on my chest and face for 3-4 treatments now and my results are nothing short of amazing!!! I was struggling with adult acne, hyperpigmentation from the acne, redness and premature aging.
