The Recovery

After your appointment, it’s important to avoid intense exercise, heat and sun exposure, alcohol, excess salt, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)/aspirin as well as lying facedown for 24 hours afterward, to prevent swelling.
