
RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa organize month-long charity to urge patients to donate items in need to Ronald McDonald House
Charities of Chicagoland & NW Indiana. The Ronald McDonald House Charities mission is to care for families of children with complex medical needs by providing comfort, compassion and a sense of community.
RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa will collect requested items including; paper towels, Kleenex, canned soup and more from patients through the month of December for families of hospitalized children.
Dr. Daniel Ritacca, president of RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa says, “I couldn’t think of a better local organization to support
this holiday season…The Ronald McDonald House Charities provides wonderful care to families in need and I consider myself lucky to be in a position to make a difference.”
Ronald McDonald Houses supports the needs of families whose children are receiving treatment at hospitals including Ann & Robert H.
Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago & the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. There are four Ronald McDonald Houses in the Chicago land
and Northwest Indiana area and over 300 Ronald McDonald Houses around the globe.
The houses offer care & comfort for families of hospitalized children and include several guest rooms; some offer a rooftop healing deck and
a kitchen filled with home-cooked meals and supportive conversation.
